No, we'll never do that. Per-user pricing for SaaS is so 20th century!
Our pricing depends only on the amount of words you actually review within the product, for all your target languages combined. For example:
Pay monthly, or go annual with a 15% discount. Enterprise plan (annual contracts only) offers unlimited words, on-premise hosting, custom integrations, and extended support.
You can also buy affordable word packs to temporarily increase your review limits until the end of current subscription period.
Our pricing depends only on the amount of words you actually review within the product, for all your target languages combined. For example:
- you localize 1M words per year into 10 languages = 10M words per year
- out of those you evaluate (on average) 12% = 1.2M words per year (= 100K words per month)
- you only pay for 1.2M words per year

Do I need a Translation Management System (TMS) in order to use ContentQuo?

Absolutely not!
ContentQuo works really well in standalone mode without any TMS whatsoever. Just keep in mind that in this case, you'll have to upload & download bilingual files and create users manually.
Beginning without TMS integration makes for a very easy start, and you can always add a TMS connector later.

ContentQuo can integrate with 3rd party automated translation Quality Control tools (note: we don't build our own) and turns any such tool into a Quality Evaluation tool. Such tools allow you to get a "quick & dirty" estimate for certain aspects of linguistic quality.
They tend to be pretty good for some quality aspects, like Terminology. However, none of the tools (as of early 2018) can reliably assess such important aspects as Accuracy or Style.

We work best with XLIFF 1.2, both "vanilla" version and many different "flavours": SDL Trados Studio XLIFF (.SDLXLIFF), MemoQ XLIFF (.MQXLIFF .MQXLZ), MemSource XLIFF (.MXLIFF), and WorldServer XLIFF, to name just a few.
Besides, we can handle TMX 1.4b, Microsoft Excel, and more -- even good old .TTX files from Trados TagEditor! All in all, about 20 file formats and varieties are currently supported.
